Virgil proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, storytelling, exercising, traveling, and most of all working for Greyhound. He loved life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Virgil is survived by his son, Anthony Thurston of Kansas; daughter, Tania Thurston and husband Craig Anderson of North Carolina; and two grandchildren; son, Dennis Thurston; brother, Carroll Thurston of Washington; and two nephews.
