Mary Alice loved cooking and having dinner parties. Anyone that has had her homemade biscuits can testify to this! She loved to sew, read books, garden and grow beautiful flowers. Mary Alice Allred was full of grace. Most of all, she loved being “Mom” and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aunt Grace and Uncle Wendy; a husband of 65 years, Henry B. Allred; a son, James Milton Tierce; two great-grandchildren, Josh Cozart and Gage Hill; a sister, Lottie Royal and a niece, Rowena Royal.
Mary Alice is survived by a son, Henry Choco Allred of Hollister; three granddaughters she had adopted, Alicia Dori Bourque and husband Todd of Hollister, Holly Christine Cozart and husband Corey of Hollister, Kimberly Ann Tierce of Houston, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren, Andre Armendariz, Zaccary Cozart, Henry Tyler Armendariz, Matt and Gabe Cozart, Taylor Bourque, Amber Bourque, Todd Bourque, Jr, Elizabeth Cozart, Abbey Allred, Shawn Michael Bourque, as well as two nieces, Vivian Dollar and Amber Dollar of Houston, Texas.
There will be a celebration of life 11:00 am Friday, May 2, 2014 at Branson United Methodist Church with Rev. Stacie Williams officiating.
