Betty enjoyed working in her flower gardens, reading many books, and taking in the simple things of life. She was a woman of strong Christian faith who spent a lot of time at her church. Betty was a school administrator during her working years. All who knew her will miss her greatly.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam Ogawa; son, Raymond Ogawa; and brother, George Fujimoto.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sue (Raymond) Smith of Walnut Shade, Missouri; daughter, Sandra (Bert) Saveriano of Scottsdale, Arizona; son, Scott Ogawa of Boston, Massachusetts; daughter, Julie (Linus) Yamane of Claremont, California; sister, Doris Aoki of Hilo, Hawaii; sister, Lily Taka of Riverside, California; brother, Charles Fujimoto of Riverside, California; sister, Mable Zink of Riverside, California; and grandson, David Ogawa of Riverside, California.
A family memorial gathering will be in California at a later time.
