With a loving, gentle spirit, Camille pursued her love for family, interests in reading and writing, and care for others. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing then worked as a registered nurse for nearly 35 years for Sharp Healthcare and the University of California in San Diego. After retiring, she enjoyed bowling and working for the United States Parks Service.
Camille is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aurthur Bledsoe; sister, Christine Myers; infant twin siblings; and daughter, Mona Kathleen Helm.
She is survived by three children: son, Martin Ray of Gresham, Oregon, son, Mark Ray of Kansas City, Kansas, and daughter, Monica Ray of San Diego, California; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three siblings: brother, Conrad Branson of Alameda, California, brother, Neal Branson of Seaside, Oregon, and sister, Connie Branson of Alameda, California; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in Kansas City, Kansas, at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
