Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked for the VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming, and was also a house painter. His hobbies included fishing and golfing. Charles was known for creating beautiful needlepoint. He will be truly missed by his family and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lee Green, Jr.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan Bernice (Kawulok) Green of the home; three daughters, Deborah and husband Robert Fall of Branson, Nancy Mathis of Crescent City, California, and Sharon Green of Branson; a son, Charles Green, Jr. and wife Dixie Green of Sheridan, Wyoming; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Eldon and wife Helen Green of Arizona and Richard and wife Bernadine Green of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in memory of Charles Green may be made to an animal rescue of their choice. A private family service will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at a later time with Brother Waylon Hopper officiating.
