Thank you for all your heartfelt thoughts and prayers. We wanted to
inform you that there will actually be two Celebration of Life
ceremonies for Corrine. One in Branson West, MO on February 18th,
and the other in Excelsior, MN on March 19th. The Locations and times are listed at the end of her
obituary shown below. The special ceremony at each location will start one half hour after the
Celebration start time listed for each. Both celebrations will be the same and all are welcome
at whichever one works best for you.

Corrine Ann Abel, 65, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Corrine was born on June 12, 1951 in Excelsior, Minnesota, to loving parents, Arland and Evelyn McCaul. She was the eldest of 7 children.
Corrine enjoyed spending time on the lake, learning new things and loving people. She never met a stranger, and made everyone feel like a forever friend. Corrine was the life of the party, and her laugh was memorable and joyful. She always said, ‘Family and friends are my favorite things in life!’ Corrine had a strong faith in God, and had an impact on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father Arland McCaul, brother Jerry McCaul, sister Diane McCaul, niece Stephanie Triplett, as well as grandparents and other cherished family and friends.
Corrine is survived by her beloved husband, Bob Abel, daughters Brianna Maxwell (husband Brant, daughters Adalyn, Kaelyn and Jocelyn) and Crystal Ellifrits (husband Andrew), mother Evelyn McCaul, brother and sisters Cathy Nielsen (David), Jim McCaul (LouEllen), Maria Kaufenberg (Kim), Paula Yap (Bret), sister-in-law Barbara Pisel (Gary), and loving nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life ceremonies will be held in Branson West, Missouri, on Saturday, February 18 from 4-7pm at The Ledgestone Club House in Stonebridge Village, and in her hometown of Excelsior, Minnesota on Sunday, March 19 from 5-8pm at the Pique Travel Design Event Center.
In lieu of flowers for her memorial, please donate to your local charity or hospice in Corrine's honor. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
