Woody proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. As the owner of Neon Sign, his work can be seen all over the country, especially in the Branson area where he and Lillian have installed many neon signs. A hard working, fantastic man, “Neon Woody” loved people and was very generous with his time to others and he had a special place in his heart for our veterans. Woody will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Connie Wood and Charlie Robbins.
Woody is survived by his lovely wife of 25 years, Lillian Wood of the home; a son, Craig Wood, Jr. of Harrison, Arkansas; a daughter, Tracey Harper of Harrison, Arkansas; a son, David Charles Davis of New Mexico; A daughter, Sandra Veazey and husband Michael of New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Dejah Belle Veazey, J.D. and Tabitha Harper, Dalton and Franklin Davis, Jasmine and Sam Wood; and a brother, David Wood of St. Louis, Missouri.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Plumlee Cemetery, Compton, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
