He was preceded in death by his parents; a half-brother, J.C. Scroggs; and a Great-Granddaughter, Bayleigh Beall.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Dee Scroggs of the home; two sons, Marc Alan Scroggs and wife Barbara of Branson, Missouri, David Keith Scroggs and wife Connie of Lakeview, Arkansas; two daughters, Rosalyn Beall and husband Billy of Cape Fair, Missouri, Darlene J. Whalen and husband Terry of Branson, Missouri; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roland Scroggs and wife Charlotte of Kolin, Fred Scroggs and wife Bonita of Pineville, Louisiana; two sisters, Vicie Brown and husband Bob of Pineville, Louisiana, Dell Francois and husband J.C. of Hinesville, Louisiana; Several nieces and nephews.
During his working years, Curtis worked as a camera and plate maker for the Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Alexandria, Louisiana. He enjoyed woodworking and loved his family dearly. Curtis will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with Father Rick Jones Officiating.
