Dick proudly served our country in both the United States Air Force and Navy during World War II, Korea and Viet Nam. He loved horses and discussing politics. He and Mary Ann enjoyed traveling in their RV. Dick was a Kansas Jayhawk basketball fan, as well as a St. Louis Cardinals and Baltimore Orioles baseball fan. Bluegrass was his favorite music. Most of all, Dick Corbin loved his family and they loved him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Neal Corbin and Tom Corbin; as well as two sisters, Loretta Blaney and Jean Buppert.
Dick is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann (Pohl) Corbin of the home; two sons, Michael Corbin and wife Darlene of Millersville, Maryland, Jeff Corbin and wife Danielle of Mount Airy, Maryland; two step-daughters, Crystal Harris and husband Michael of Baldwin City, Kansas, Diane Becker and husband James of Lawrence, Kansas; a step-son, Brett Wells of Lawrence, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Kadie Corbin, Bill Corbin and wife Melissa, Clay Corbin, Heather Lewis, Hannah Harris and Nickolas Becker; as well as several nieces and nephews.
