Don proudly served our nation in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a very compassionate man who loved his family. Don enjoyed working outside and was an avid bowler. Most of all, Don devoted his life to his loving wife, Bert. They are together once again.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Bertha Lucille (Jobes) Weidauer; a son-in-law, Steven James; and a brother, Lloyd Weidauer.
Don is survived by two daughters, Marsha James of Hollister, Missouri, and Debra Johnson and husband David of Cambridge, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Michael Graham of Austin, Texas, Melissa Davis and husband James of Lampe, Missouri, Kristen Graham of Springfield, Missouri, Sara Stalf and husband Clayton of Coal Valley, Illinois, and Ryan Johnson of Davenport, Iowa; two great-grandchildren, Jaecee and Hailey Badley of Lampe, Missouri; a sister, Geneva Heck of Leesburg, Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later time. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice Compassus, 3044 Shepherd of the Hills Expwy, Branson, Missouri 65616.
