Dwain was a farmer his whole life. From 1966 to 1983, he worked in New York City, providing animals for the Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, The Rocketts, the Captain Kangaroo Show and Sesame Street. Most of all, he loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis Hammond.
Dwain is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Virginia Hammond of the home; two daughters, Becky Hubbard of Kirbyville, Billie Schridde and husband Luke of Taneyville; four grandchildren, Devon Lean of Branson, Mandi and Ashley Hubbard of Kirbyville, and Hunter Schridde of Taneyville.
