Gary was a faithful member of Forsyth Jehovah’s Witnesses. He worked in construction throughout his career. Gary was creative and artistic, working with oil paints, acrylics, relief and carving. He enjoyed airplanes, which he had two, and working on cars. Most of all, Gary Durham loved his church and had many spiritual family members. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carole DuPlanti and Barbara Ottoman.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Anita Durham of Forsyth, Missouri; two daughters, Michele Suer of San Diego, California, Christine Martin of Spanaway, Washington; his step-children, Valarie Hays, Daniel Curry and Brent Curry; as well as 10 grandchildren, Katia, Tavian, Roman, Nathena, Aremas, Weston, Wyatt, Kiersten, Damian and Wilder.
A memorial service celebrating the life and service of Gary will be held on March 18, 2017, at 4:00 pm at the Forsyth Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Memorial contributions in memory of Gary may be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses, to support the worldwide work.
