Helen loved her work with Branson Public Schools as a bus aide for special needs children. She enjoyed crafts and her “babies.” Helen will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Sailsbury; and three sisters, Glenda Hood, Dianne Head and Lynne Neely.
Helen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Everett Sailsbury of Hollister; two daughters, Darla Sailsbury of Hollister, Denese Kinderknecht and husband Earl of Salina, Kansas; a son, Damon Sailsbury and wife Betty of Hollister; seven grandchildren and spouses, Trinket and Justin (Amy) Kinderknecht, Katrina (Adam) Evans, Kari (Bobby) Butler, Christopher (Katy), Dakota (Erin) and Kolton (Kelsie) Sailsbury; ten great-grandchildren, Trayton, Kyndall and Karsyn Kinderknecht, Malia Evans, Kayden, Brody, Paisley and Brennan Sailsbury, Bricyn and Halyn Stoll; three brothers, Steven Douglas and wife Sandra of Brunswick, Georgia, Robert Douglas of Kingsland, Georgia, Melvin “Billy” Douglas and wife Connie of Jesup, Georgia; two sisters, Pam Gorham of Booklet, Georgia, Geraldine Douglas-Cannon of Pembroke, Georgia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Healing River Worship Center, 265 Oak Ridge Road, Walnut Shade, Missouri with Pastor Tim Snider officiating.
