Jim proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He also worked as a switchman for the railroad for 33 years and volunteered for fire and police departments. Throughout his life, Jim was a hard worker and good provider. A good ole’ boy who was a people person, he never met a stranger. Jim loved his family with his heart and the work of his hands.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sisson of the home; a daughter, Pam Sisson of Ashville, North Carolina; a son, Mike Sisson of Fulton, Kentucky; two stepsons, David Janik of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Eugene Janik of Hollister, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Joey Janik and Shelby Janik.
