John always thrived on entertaining people and he never met a stranger. He was known professionally as “The Sandman.” As a hypnotist, he entertained in comedy clubs and had people laughing until it hurt. John also played his guitar in some country bands and enjoyed making people happy. Teasing people was a must for him and there was no use arguing, because he was “always right.” When he is thought of, many fond memories and big smiles will cross a lot of faces.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Anderson) Mann of the home; son Ben Mann, of Hollister, Missouri; daughter, Katelyn Anderson of Los Angeles, California; stepdaughter, Tera (Scott) McMurtry of Boulder, Colorado; two grandchildren: Logan Michael Mann, and Ty’Lynne Michelle Brown; two sisters: Susan (Wayne) Vetter of Fort Myers, Florida, and Kathy (Paul) Wilson of Port Charlotte, Florida; and brother Roy (Lois) Mann of Freehold, New Jersey.
A private family gathering will follow at a later time.
