A. J. worked as a Boat Captain on the rivers and inter-costal waterways in Louisiana. After retiring to Branson, he met his wife, Leesa Voss. Years later, they moved to Green Forest. A. J. enjoyed cooking, watching wrestling, fishing and the outdoors. He also enjoyed taking care of his animals and helping people any way that he could. Most of all, A. J. loved his family more than anything and he will be missed dearly by anyone who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Francis, Charles, Carrol, Druis, Ronald and Barry LeBlanc; as well as two sisters, Rita Mae LeBouef and Kathy Ledet.
A. J. is survived by his wife, Leesa Voss-LeBlanc; his children, Dr. Ralph LeBlanc and wife Cherie of Branson, Missouri, Margerita Dougharty and husband Brad of Branson, Missouri, Paul LeBlanc and wife Angel of Hollister, Missouri, and Ron Voss and wife Ashley of Hutchinson, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, Madison, Macy, Mia, and Morgan LeBlanc, Connar, Keigan and Isabella Dougharty, Ethan and Eurijah LeBlanc, Ronnie and Gaberilla Voss; one great-grandchild, Aiden LeBlanc; his brothers and sisters, Joyce Dehart, Shirley Guy, Caroline Trosclair and husband Benny, all of Louisiana, Eugene LeBlanc and wife Esmeralda of Texas, Eunice Cangelosi and husband Nick, Sandra Hutchinson and husband Kevin, Dale LeBlanc and Darry LeBlanc, all of Louisiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 9:00 am Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson, Missouri, with Pastor Ted Cunningham officiating. An additional memorial service will be held at a later time in Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in memory of AJ has been established at Ozark Mountain Bank.
