Ray obtained the rank of Seaman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy as he was involved in D-Day during World War II. He enjoyed fishing and was a hard worker in all he took to task. Ray worked in the upholstery industry and owned William Case Upholstery. One thing is sure, he greatly loved his family and country and lived and fought for both.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Tressa Case and his brother, Ronald Case.
Ray is survived by his wife of 68 years, Norma Jane (Oliver) Case of Forsyth, Missouri; two sons: Dennis Ray Case and wife Donna of Branson, Missouri, and Daniel Joseph Case and wife Terri of St. Louis, Missouri; one granddaughter, Destiny Denise McGrail and husband Andrew; and two great grandchildren: Fiona Pearl McGrail and Rowan Patrick McGrail.
A memorial service with full military honors will be held at Grace Family Church in Branson, Missouri, at 2:00 pm on Saturday July 8, 2017. Inurnment will be held at a later time at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
