Kathlyn was a very giving and loving woman. Always having a positive attitude, she made those around her feel loved. Kathlyn was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking. She loved music, singing, drawing and her animals. Most of all, Kathlyn loved life and her family, who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Rich; a son, Roger Rich; and four brothers and sisters, Phyllis, Marie, Maxine and Virgil.
Kathlyn is survived by her children, Kathy Markham and husband Barry of Forsyth, Bill Rich and wife Vicki of Florida, Bob Rich and wife Camilla of Forsyth, Missouri, Cindy Mally of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and one on the way; as well as two brothers, James Carter and wife Connie of California, Gary Carter and wife Sandy of Kansas.
A celebration of Kathlyn’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Forsyth United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Lawman officiating.
