Lee proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a land developer and he enjoyed studying history and the Civil War. Lee had a good singing voice and was a sports fan, especially the Cardinals and Nascar. He and Dorothy like to travel to the South and visit Civil War sites. Lee will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Pauline Fischer, and Ruby LaChance; a brother, Sterling E. Tucker, Jr.; and a nephew, Jackie Parsons.
Lee is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Tucker of the home; his children, Debra Lonsberry and husband Les of Elsberry, Missouri, Lisa Hilton of Wentzville, Missouri, and Mark Tucker and wife Ava of O’Fallon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Stacy, Shanna, Curtis, Kelly, Krista, Whitney and husband Ricky; three step-grandchildren, Scott, Jessica and Jonathan; six great-grandchildren, Cameron, Keeaira, Christopher, Mikayle, Kyin and Mila; two step-great grandchildren, Landien and Nolen; a sister, Dorothy Englehart of Webster City, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later time. The family requests memorial donations in memory of Lee be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org.
