Lonnie proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. A true entrepreneur and hard worker, Lonnie was a resourceful jack-of-all-trades. With an interest and skill in architecture, he built a cabin by himself. Lonnie enjoyed building cars, spending time at the lake and truly living off the grid. His joys included his dogs and love for animals. A lively storyteller, he shared humor and teaching with others. Lonnie will be deeply missed and remembered.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Kayla Vogt; his son, Shelby Vogt; three grandchildren: Shelby, Logan and Gage; and a sister, Kiki Vogt.
Services will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, at a later time.
