A hard worker, Norman held many jobs over the years, including farming and carpentry. He was a conductor on the Santa Fe Railroad, where he retired after 33 years, and he also enjoyed coin collecting in his spare time. Norman was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior Fred Kuhl and James Kuhl; sisters, Viola Buckingham and Louella Kuhl; daughter, Sharon White; and stepson, James Wyatt Shea.
Norman is survived by his wife, Claudia Kuhl of the home; children, Norman Paul Kuhl Jr. and wife Nancy of Oak Grove, Missouri, Frank Kuhl of Nevada, Missouri, Karen Hauf of Nevada, Missouri, Jeannie Watson and husband Andy of Nevada, Missouri, Dennis Kuhl and wife Brandi of Halfway, Missouri, and Davin Kuhl and fiancé Misty of Parsons, Kansas; stepchildren, Kathleen Moore of Merryville, Tennessee, Barbara Howe and husband Phil of Del City, Oklahoma, Patricia Culey and husband Rick of Ridgedale, Missouri, and Stephanie Shea of Springfield, Missouri; 30 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Lenz of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mary Cory of Des Moines, Iowa.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at New Beginnings Fellowship in Hollister, Missouri, with Pastor Dennis Webb officiating.
