To further research, Rick had his body donated to science. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
He is survived by his wife, Riki Sayre, of 48 years of the home: son, Larry and his family Megumi, Cody, and Ryan; sister Jenettia and husband Denton Grubbs; special cousin, Barbara Dusto; two special daughters: Bernice Ware and husband Rodney; and Tammy and Ryan; sister-in-law, Cindi Knight; brothers-in-law, Mike and Bruce Sayre and their families; mother in law, Mary Patch of Chicago, Illinois; and an aunt, Midge Weden of Elmhurst, Illinois. He had a great love for his many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was “Uncle Rick” to so many.
Rick loved his friends as well. His best friend/fishing buddy, Craig Howe, passed away 4 days before Rick. Marsha and Riki believe they are fishing together now.
My Rick loved to aggravate people, fish, and just be in a boat. He had the biggest heart I’ve ever seen. He would help everyone. He was a “one of a kind” person and he will be greatly missed by all, especially Poot, Scoot, and Bobo, his dogs and cat that are missing their daddy.
