Bob was a dedicated family man as a husband, father, and “Pa.” He married the love of his life, Jackie Muskopf on May 11, 1957, and from that time forward you never saw one without the other. Bob and Jackie owned and operated River Lake Resort in Hollister, Main Street Marina in Branson, and Bob’s Guide Service. He has tied more Taneycomo drift rigs than can be counted. He also worked at Wonder Bread for 21 years and gladly served our country in the U.S. Army. Bob was a Cardinals fan and an avid outdoorsman whether hunting or fishing. All who knew him loved him and will miss him greatly.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Klein.
He is survived by his wife Jackie of the home; daughter Kim Parker and husband Bob of Columbia, Illinois, and son Kyle Klein and wife Mary of Branson, Missouri; three grandchildren: Kory Klein and wife Sarah, Garrett Klein, Kelsey Obara and husband Tyler; two great-grandchildren: Rylan Obara and Kayleen Klein; step-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Klein of Columbia, Illinois.
Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. with Celebration of Life to follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Branson United Methodist Church, where Bob was a member, with Pastor Eric Derks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to his church, or at www.lls.org, for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
