Sherry worked as a detox manager at the Larry Simmering Center in Branson. She enjoyed making crafts and had a great sense of humor. Sherry loved everyone no matter what and she would often spread the gospel with others. She was kind hearted, enthusiastic and was a strong person. Most of all, Sherry loved her kids with all of her heart and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rusty Hopkins and a brother, Johnny Keys.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Hopkins of Texas City, Texas; a daughter, Kammi Rhoades and husband Donovan of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sons, Coty Pollard of Branson, Missouri, Levi Pollard of Kirbyville, Missouri; a sister, Sandra Van Deusen of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Tim Keys and wife Shelly of Tennessee; two nieces; a nephew; and her life-long friend, Billy Pollard.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the Taney Center in Kissee Mills, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
