Shirley loved her coffee and chocolate. She enjoyed reading, bird watching and animals. She will be remembered as a kind woman. Shirley loved country music, but more than the music, she loved her family. Shirley be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Judy Shaver; and a niece, Lorkay Lynn (Ayers) Cummins.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Michelle Frees and husband Mark of Rogersville, Missouri, Bobbi Jo Meneely and husband John of Meadville, Missouri; six grandchildren: three sisters, Vickie Means and husband Tom of Macon, Missouri, Connie Lake and husband Mike of Moberly, Missouri, and Trudy Ayers and husband Danny also of Macon, Missouri; three brothers, Larry Shaver and wife Kathy of Bevier, Missouri, Gary Shaver and wife Gloria also of Bevier, Missouri, and Ronnie Shaver of Callao, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House or the American Cancer Society. A private memorial service will be held at a later time in Hawaii.
