Stan enjoyed his work as a design engineer for HP until his retirement in 1984, when he moved back to Missouri. He was very talented and a hard worker. Even though he battled polio, he never complained or lost his positive attitude and was encouraging to everyone around him. Stan had his own machine shop and enjoyed mechanic work. He enjoyed yard work, gardening was a great wood worker and hot rod enthusiast. Stan enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. Most of all, Stan loved the Lord and sharing with others the word of God and his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marvin Stuart and Daniel Stuart.
Stan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Diana Stuart of the home; a son, Dennis Stuart and wife Amanda of Taneyville, Missouri; a daughter, Stephanie Brake and husband James of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Dusten Stuart, Crystal Wake and husband Andy, Amber Adams and husband Sam, Sabra Stuart and Sebatian Stuart; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn France and husband Garland of Hartville, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Larita Stuart of Carpenter, Wyoming, Pat Stuart of Forsyth, Missouri; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held 11:00 am, December 19, 2016, at New Vision Church in Taneyville with Pastor Sam Kaunley, Pastor Galen Dennis, and Pastor Rich Brown speaking.
