Having a passion for trains, Stanley enjoyed living in the country, watching Nascar and baseball. He had a great sense of humor. Most of all, Stanley loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie; and a grandson, Blake Carter.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife, LaDeana Wahlgren of the home; a son, Paul Carter and wife Vallie of Oak Grove, Arkansas; four daughters, Heather Preston, Julie Wahlgren, both of St. Joseph, Missouri, Brandi Kelly and husband Jerry of Elwood, Kansas, and Raphaela Carter and significant other Donald Henderson of St. Joseph, Missouri; 17 grand children; 1 great grandchild; two brothers, Steven Wahlgren and wife Cheryl of St. Joseph, Missouri, Kenneth Wahlgren Jr. and wife Jane of Pangburn, Arkansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Stanley’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald house in memory of Stanley.
