Teresa, daughter of an original homesteader in Long Beach, was a life-long resident of Branson, graduating from Branson High School in 1971, before earning her Undergraduate Degree in Education from Murray State University and Masters Degree from Southwest Missouri State. She returned home to teach for the Branson School District for 34 years. Teresa lived for teaching children. She touched many lives throughout her career and beyond and taught countless children how to read. When she was not teaching, she enjoyed being in the sun, cooking, spending time with her family, and out on the water, preferably waterskiing. Teresa will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.
Teresa is survived by her husband Jim Williams of the home; a step-daughter, Meghan Leah Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Sam and Wyatt Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, John Edward Judah and wife Taylor of Branson, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Savannah Dee and John Michael Judah, and Shannon Vess of Nevada, Missouri; as well as several cousins, Susan Bell and husband James with daughter Jamie, and David Aubin and wife Lori with daughters Leanne and Elizabeth.
A private service for family and friends will be held Friday evening December 4th at 6PM at McKenna’s Family Farm at 3265 State Highway F in Branson. A public Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 420 W. Main St, Branson, at 1PM Saturday, December 5th.
