Tricia Shirlene (Wolf) McCaleb, age 79, of Kimberling City, Missouri, passed away on August 10, 2015, at home. She was born June 28, 1936, in Sedalia, Missouri. Tricia was the daughter of Eugene and Alpha Ann Wolf. She was of the Catholic Faith. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
A wonderful mother, Tricia was a great leader, strong and independent, determined. She enjoyed outdoor activities and loved the people of her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Earl Peoples; four brothers Melvin Wolf, Dan Wolf, Bill Wolf, and Kenneth Wolf; as well as a daughter-in-law, Andrea Peoples.
Tricia is survived by her daughter, Denise LaPlante and husband Kevin LaPlante of Spokane, Missouri; two sons Chris Peoples of Nixa, Missouri, and Mark Peoples of Kimberling City, Missouri; a sister, Carolyn Wolf-Kedigh of Surprise, Arizona; a brother, Gerald Wolf, of Palm Springs, California; six grandchildren Billy Joe Van Natta of Kansas City, Missouri; Jena Peoples of Palm Desert, California; Adam Peoples of Spring, Texas; Sarah Workman of St. Louis, Missouri; Morgan Calli Jenson of Orange, California; and Mark Andrew Peoples, Jr. of California.
She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren Ava Stevenson, Atticus Stevenson, Miles Davis Warner, Hannah Peoples, Megan Peoples, Aiden Peoples, Caiden Peoples, Chelsea King, Christopher King, Emma Workman, Olivia Workman, Briella Workman, and Parker Workman.
A mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015, at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City, Missouri. The family requests no flowers. An internment will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery within Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, Missouri.
