With a fine taste for the arts, Zulma was talented in singing, dancing, and drawing. Her creativity touched many lives. She loved Broadway shows, good food, and music. She also had a penchant for shopping and was a seamstress. Extremely loving and generous, Zulma possessed a wonderful sense of humor and wit. Her favorite time of year was Christmas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Derrick Morales.
Zulma is survived by her husband, Raul Morales; a daughter, Melissa (Steve) Castaneda of Branson, Missouri; a son, Robin Morales of Branson, Missouri; four grandchildren: Stephanie, Victoria, Christina, and Rafael; and five great-grandchildren: Phoebe, Nagia, Grace, Isabella, and Axel. She is also survived by a sister, Diana (Raymond Rojas) Saltares of Puerto Rico; three brothers: Joaquin (Marcy) Ramirez, Jr. of Florida, Angel Saltares of New York, and Joseph Ramirez of New Jersey; and several other relatives.
Inurnment will take place at a later time at Mount Hope Cemetery in Westchester County, New York.
